Kaden Bug

Kristen stayed home from work sick today.... and I could have taken Kaden to his aunt Mandy's house for her... but I decided to stay home and watch him so Kristen could sleep. Of course I had to snap some pictures of him. He is just so cute! Some of these made me laugh.

Picking Apples....

Tom and I stopped on our way back from Park City to pick some apples from my grandma & grandpa's house down by the river. It's that time of year!

We have made 3 pyrex dishes of Apple Crisp. I took two to work today, and they were gone by 10:00 this morning. I will have to figure out more apple recipes. We still have about half of this bag left. Tom wants applesauce... but I am thinking he can make it this year if he wants it that bad. I made it last year. Not my favorite.

Hi Everyone! It has been a while since we last updated the blog. We have been kind of busy and most of the time we are posting to Facebook. I will try to to better about keeping the blog updated for you non-facebookers.

We have had a fun summer. I can not believe it has gone by so quickly!

Danny visited the Mayo Clinic - June 15th

Garrett went to Disney World Florida: June 27th

Took a trip to CA to see the family and spend the 4th with them: July 2nd

Me, Kristen & Kaden took a trip to Heyburn to see all of the cousins: July 17th

Garrett moved out with room mates: July 21st

Brian Wasem and family stayed with us on their way to Montana: August 3rd

Jared & Jessica welcomed baby Asher to their family: August 11th

Bought my new car: August 19th

Garrett started college: August 24th

Van, Melissa, Mason & Myles came for a visit: September 2nd

Had a Labor Day Bash at our house: September 6th

And we are leaving for Park City this afternoon. Tom and I need a little R&R get away!

Kaden's 3 Month Pictures

3 Month Stats:

Kaden now tries to carry on conversations with us. He thinks he is talking. So we talk back. When you tickle him, he almost laughs, but smiles so big! He has found his feet and his hands and now prefers to stick his hand in is mouth instead of his binkie. He loves playing on the floor with his baby gym. He can reach out and grab toys, but doesn't quite know what to do with them once he gets them. He holds both of his arms straight out and makes fists when you are carrying him facing forward. He is a very happy baby and is very lucky to have so many loving people in his life. I am also very proud of Kristen and AJ. They have a lot of patients, and are full of love for this little guy. They are wonderful parents.

Garrett Moving The TV

Tom gave Garrett the big screen TV we had in the bonus room upstairs. Can I just tell you how freaked out I was watching the boys get that huge thing down the stairs and into the truck! Yikes. But they are really enjoying it. They don't have cable, but they are having fun watching South Park DVD's using the XBox.

One of the guys is squished behind the TV in this picture yelling to back it up. It was kind of funny!

Kaden 2 Month Pictures

Kaden is such a happy baby!

I turned this picture to black and white and then added back his eyes in the natural color. It almost looks touched up against the black and white... but that is our blue eyed baby boy!

I can usually see either Kristen OR AJ in Kaden. But in this picture -
He is totally doing a Shanna smile.

4th of July '09!

We decided to visit our family in California over the 4th of July. Tom and I were ready for a road trip and Kristen was going a bit stir crazy after having baby Kaden. We did a lot in a very short amount of time. We were also able to stop in Sacramento and have lunch with Melissa, (Tom's sister)Mason, & Myles (nephews). And stayed the night at their house on our way back home.

We stayed the night in Reno on our way down.

Garrett - Disney World

Garrett left Sunday morning bright and early for Disney World Florida for a week! He arrived at 1:20 pm - called me before he was off the plane to let me know he had made it. I sent him a text later and asked for some pictures. This is what I got. I really wanted pictures of HIM! So I have my request in for more... we will see what he sends.
